great staff who are super friendly and helpfull. loved the fast response to my chat messages. the location was awesome, just a short walk to the beach. breakfast was decent enough to kickstart the day with some yogurt and eggs. my room was clean, not perfect, but comfy.

the shower design could be way better, and the night security was kinda unreliable, had trouble getting out one night.

It's hard to miss the unexpected extra charge for air conditioning at €7 per day, which felt excessive for the stay. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired, with service provided only once, and the shower's design flaw—no curtain—was a nuisance, leading to a drenched bathroom every time. Late-night security seemed a bit unreliable one morning when I found the entrance locked with a chain and had to hunt down security to get out. Noise from the pool area could get loud, especially during the evenings, which might deter those looking for a quieter escape.

The location of Playa Bay is fantastic, just a quick walk to the beach—about 40 meters away, which makes it super convenient for beach lovers. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, except for a little stain on a towel I noticed. Breakfast was quite solid, offering yogurt with fruit, cereal, and some egg options, definitely enough to start the day right. Plus, when I had to leave for an early excursion, they let me grab breakfast a bit earlier, at around 7:45, which was really helpful. the shower setup needs improvement—there's no curtain, so the bathroom gets drenched every time. One night, I had trouble at 5 AM when the night security guard was busy and I found the entrance locked with a chain, having to track him down to get out. While most of the staff were friendly, that interaction could have been managed better.

I had an enjoyable stay at Playa Bay. The proximity to the beach made it perfect for my morning strolls, and the friendly staff at the breakfast service created a welcoming atmosphere. While I encountered late housekeeping, the overall cleanliness of my room made up for it.

The air conditioning fee was an unexpected cost, yet the room was well-maintained.
